Although Dr. McDonald completed a fellowship in plastic surgery, he enjoys working with the entire range of ear, nose and throat issues. He has special interests in dealing with sinus concerns and facial fractures, including researching eustachian tube imaging with an eye towards future surgical intervention.

Dr. McDonald believes that an ideal patient-physician relationship is one where both sides are fully invested in the patient’s outcome. He spends the necessary time with each patient, making sure they are educated and well-informed about their condition so they are able to take an active role in their health.
Personal Interests
Dr. McDonald is an avid reader and enjoys playing the guitar. He stays active by scuba diving and playing tennis. He loves to travel, and each year, he leads a medical mission to Honduras.
